What we do

Spotting a gap in the market for effective publicity and event coordination within the arts and entertainment industry, in 1996 Bridget van Oerle – having studied theatre crafts at what is today the Tshwane University of Technology, and subsequently working as a publicist and company manager for PACT Drama as well as a theatre agent – decided to open her own company specialising in this sector.

Since then, through imaginative campaigns and sheer hard work, BUZ has zoomed to take up a position at the forefront of the arts publicity industry. The company's raison d'être remains the same: using a hands-on approach to dynamic communication.

This ethos has seen BUZ chalking up great success in liaising with the media; preparing, placing and managing stories; and implementing tactical and strategic campaigns to showcase a company's or event's strengths to the best possible advantage.

For each publicity campaign, BUZ will prepare concise or in-depth articles custom-designed to the needs of each targeted publication, and will thoroughly prepare clients for television and radio appearances.

No job is too big or too small: we work on regional, national and foreign projects and therefore have a broad network of media contacts.
